CLUB MAIL LIST

The Halifax ISKF now has it's own mail list, so if you would like to keep track and be notified of upcoming events, announcements, cancelations and other news, please feel free to join the list.

Note: You are responsible for your own mail list account. You can subscribe and unsubscribe yourself, so please record, and keep in a safe place your username and password.

Overview of Mail List Rules

1. Please use your real name and not a screen name when signing up for the list, as only club members are allowed to sign up. You may not be accepted as a member if we do not know who you are.
   
   
2. Use an email address that is clean and does not generate delivery errors. (Full mailboxes, auto-forward errors, etc). The system will automatically remove you from the list if too many "Delivery Errors" are generated from your account.
   
   
3. A warning to hotmail users: HOTMAIL junkmail filter is known to autodelete messages from the karate club. Please use alternative address OR set your hotmail to accept emails from us.
   
   
4. A warning to Yahoo users: The Yahoo mail filter will frequently place list messages in the bulk mail folder. Please check this folder for messages from the club and/or change the mail filter options to allow list emails to go to the inbox.
   
   
5. Be fair and respectful to all members. Similar to the dojo, we expect proper etiquette when using the new system. Failure to follow proper etiquette and respect will result in removal of your privileges.
   
   
6. No foul language or inappropriate topics.

Note: This is a closed list, which means your subscription will be held for approval. You will be notified of the list moderator's decision by email. This is also a private list, which means that the list of members is not available to non-members.
