Suri-ashi sliding one foot, other remains in place

Yori-ashi sliding both feet, but not hopping, not bringing feet together

Tsugi-ashi back foot steps behind front foot, then front foot advances (vice versa)

Ayumi-ashi back foot crosses over front foot, then front foot advances

Fumi-dashi ashi perform tsugi-ashi and continue movement of foot to make full step

Side-step/Direction Change

Hiraki-ashi both feet shift to the side

Mawashi-ashi pivot on foot to change body direction

Kae-ashi change front and back foot position keeping body centre in place
